How to Participate in Rainforest Action Network
There are a number of ways you can participate in RAN’s Community Action Center. Below is a quick list of ways you can get involved with RAN right where you live.
To do anything on this list except signing up and volunteering for events, you must create an account on this website. It's quick and painless, and will make participating even easier.
Post Events
Looking for a great way to educate your friends and neighbors and get them involved? Why not plan a house party or movie night? How about a happy hour for folks to talk about issues they care about? Maybe you’d like to schedule volunteers to staff an information table at a local event or plan a fundraiser to help support RAN’s campaigns? Whatever your event, you can post it here !
Join a Chapter
RAN chapters are forming in communities, on college campuses, and at middle and high schools. Getting involved with your local chapter is a great way to meet new people who care about the same issues that you do! Search here to see if there’s one in your community.
Create a Chapter
No RAN chapter near you? Why not get some friends together and start your own? You can apply to create a RAN chapter here.
Volunteer for Events
Many events have specific volunteer roles they need to fill. Search for an event in your area and click Volunteer to lend a hand.
Sign-up for Events
Sign-up to attend a RAN event and add a message letting everyone know why you’re looking forward to it. Find events in your area and click "Sign-up."
